About Us

At 1st React Healthcare we pride ourselves that all our managers have achieved, or are working towards degree level qualifications associated with leadership & management in Health and Social Care. Our care/support workers are currently working towards/have achieved or exceeded industry standard vocational qualifications. What this means is that you can rest assured the level of knowledge and competency is high. Additionally, we have “Dementia Friends” who are specially trained to care and support those loved ones who suffer with Dementia. If your loved one suffers with Mental Health, learning disabilities, an Acquired or Traumatic Brain Injury, we have specialist trained staff to provide effective care/support to them.

Over 25 Years of Experience

From the very beginning, 1st React Healthcare was developed to become the organisation it is today. We have a number of staff working in their local communities throughout Devon. Our staff are supported by a professional management team and all of our workers are directly employed by 1st React Healthcare. We have a rigorous recruitment procedure to make sure that we only employ people who are caring, have the right qualities & qualifications to work with people in their own homes.

We're Local

1st React Healthcare is based locally and not part of a national organisation. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and we are a member of the United Kingdom Homecare Association. This means that you are cared for by people from your own areas

1st React Healthcare are very proud owners of a vehicle. We are hopeful that this will ensure our carers are kept mobile at all times to ensure more continuity and efficiency.

Electric bikes offer some great benefits including improved health and connection with the community. They are very efficient and will ensure that our carers are following strict infection control practices by not having to rely on public transport or car-sharing. Of course, safety first, they are all risk assessed, insured, tracked, and provided with safety equipment.
